About OmniTool
OmniTool is an independent collection of practical browser utilities created and maintained by Ningto. It exists to make recurring developer, document, image, network, time, and everyday calculations easier to complete without installing another application.
Why OmniTool exists
A useful tool should get out of the way: explain what it does, accept the input, produce a result, and make its limits visible. OmniTool focuses on that workflow instead of requiring an account or hiding basic features behind a download.
The catalog grows from problems encountered in real development and office work. Each tool remains available only while its behavior can be maintained and tested.
Local processing and network tools
Text, image, and PDF tools use browser capabilities whenever practical, so the input remains on the visitor’s device. A page states this only when its implementation is genuinely local.
Features that need current public data or a remote service—such as weather, DNS, exchange rates, AI chat, and bot testing—must send the necessary request to the named provider. The Privacy Policy documents those cases and their purpose.
How tools are maintained
Calculation and transformation logic is covered by automated tests where an independently checkable result is available. Production builds also verify canonical URLs, language alternates, sitemap output, privacy claims, and the PWA cache boundary.
Explanatory guides are reviewed against the implementation. Pages that depend on changing rules or external facts require sources, an explicit review date, and a limitation notice before they are eligible for search indexing.
Corrections and accountability
Ningto is publicly responsible for maintaining this site. If a result, explanation, source, accessibility detail, or privacy statement appears wrong, contact the maintainer with the page address, input, expected result, and browser information needed to reproduce it.
